easy post about an ipad repair of a cracked rear camera glass.

the camera itself is actually fine. only the protective glass that is mounted to the ipad frame has cracked. this allowed in some dirt and dust and clouded the view. i had some spare glass in stock, so we start by removing the broken glass and then cleaning the rear camera lens.

next, lets apply the correct adhesive in a precise and controlled manner and allow the adhesive to cure. you’ll notice a slight ring of adhesive that has bubbled up around the edge – this is fine. will trim that off after it has properly cured.

now for the final closeup.
